There have been many Books written about John Wayne, his films, career and personal life; several during his lifetime but many more since his passing as the interest in this legendary figure refuses to peter out. During the 1990's there was a surge in new publications including books by his daughter Aissa- 'John Wayne, My Father', the crew of his boat The Wild Goose- 'On Board with the Duke’, and informative reference books such as 'The Complete Films of John Wayne'. Certain books have also focused on individual Classic Films of the Duke, including two books about 'The Alamo' and another about 'The Lost Films of John Wayne'- (The High and The Mighty' and 'Island in the Sky')and there must be a shelf full of books about one of his most Classic films 'The Quiet Man'. Many of these books are now deleted and are becoming increasingly scarce on the secondary market. We can keep you informed, through our Journals of the currently available John Wayne books, any new releases and also try and obtain out-of-print books. |
